The Country Club of La Cholla
The Country Club of La Cholla is located in Tucson, Arizona. Built in the mid 1980’s, the building has been transformed to offer new resident amenities, giving purpose to existing spaces and maximizing use of the community’s square footage.
Upon opening the door to this community one is drawn down the main hall to the cozy seating area at the focal fireplace. The focal fireplace is now the central gathering area flanked by a new bar lounge, complete with game tables, media and a piano for entertaining
During the renovation, wood paneling and new lighting were added to existing columns. New flooring was designed and installed with a curved accent detail at the reception area. The main dining room was redesigned to include focal banquette seating and includes a built in plant display. The reception desk was relocated directly across from the main dining room to create a central axis.
A new curved bistro was added to provide casual dining, utilizing an existing area that was once unused space. A core component of the renovation design was to give each space a renewed sense of purpose while updating the design with a current, up-to-date aesthetic.
